PET DOG MANNERS 101
The objective of
Pet Dog Manners 101 is to help families and
their dogs live together happily in their
neighborhoods. Pet Dog Manners is also know as
"Basic Obedience" or beginner's class. PDM 101
is for dogs four months and older. The
objectives of class are:
- Provide timely
and relevant information for people with
dogs of any age.
- Enhance
dog/owner relationship training, attention,
and trust.
- Offer a
flexible program to suit the behavior and
training needs of the individual.
- Make help
available to clients on an ongoing basis via
private lessons, phone, or e-mail
consultations, specific handouts, and/or
continuing education classes.
PDM 101 is a seven
week class that teaches
Pack Theory
and Dog
Psychology, as well as the basic
obedience commands, and methods for correcting
canine problem behavior. Students are expected
to study weekly class handout material and
complete weekly homework assignments. PDM 101
prepares the dog/owner for more advance
(optional) training such as clicker, trick,
beginner agility and canine good citizenshipâ
training. |

Each class runs for seven weeks
on either Thursday evenings or Saturday
mornings.
Their is a maximum of 8
dogs/owners per class with an instructor ration of 4:1 Proof
of vaccinations including rabies, distemper and "bordatella"
(kennel cough) are required at time of registration. Because
of the small class size we will not hold a space in class
unless payment is made in advance.
All training fees are non-refundable and
non-transferable.
Private
one-on-one training is available year round, either at your
home or our facility near Madison Wisconsin. All training
includes our Dog Psychology and Pack Theory lessons and
times are available to fit your busy schedule! The key to
