Recommended for children ages 7-12
"Every 40 seconds, someone in the
United States seeks medical attention for a dog bite–related
injury. Each year more
than 400,000 children across the U.S. visit hospital emergency rooms
from serious dog bites.
Children
make up more than 60 percent of all dog bite victims, and the bites they
receive are usually to the face and neck."

"Good Dog!"
is taking a proactive approach to reducing dog bites to children by
hosting FREE educational work shops for children ages 7 through
12. Children of this age group represent the age that receives the
majority of avoidable dog bites. Our work shops teach children how dogs
communicate, the warning signs a dog might bite, and how to avoid being
bitten. Our classes are adjusted to the age of the participants, and
feature interactive and hands on learning experiences.
