The class covers requirements 1,2,5,6,7,8,9 of the B.S.A. Dog Care Merit Badge. To complete requirements  3 & 4 and receive merit badge, the Scout will need to provide care for a dog (their own dog or that of a friend or neighbor w/permission) for 60 days following the class. Merit Badge card will be mailed upon completion. Class is taught by Ken Wedel, a professional dog trainer, Asst. Scoutmaster, and registered B.S.A. Dog Care Merit Badge Councilor.
